The original plan was to build 148 units. Because of the favorable response in sales, optional land was purchased and 159 units were added. When the project was finished in 1987, there were a total of 307 units.
Cobblestone project began in 1981. It was developed by Hansen & Horn Builders and constructed near Eagle Creek Park at 46th Street and Dandy Trail.
The Cape Cod style was designed by a St. Louis architect. Unique to the Indianapolis area, it won BEST DESIGN by a top builders magazine. The charming homes are closely tied to an American vision of home.
